Welcome to DTT's Lab

We study ultra-peripheral heavy-ion collisions at CERN's Large Hadron Collider to study the structure and dynamics of the proton and the Pb nuclei at high energies.

We are also carrying out entanglement and quantum tomography studies for QCD processes in both proton-proton and heavy-ion data. These are topics from quantum information science which are becoming popular in particle/nuclear physics, bringing a new perspective for physics analyses using fundamental quantum mechanics.
